FACES provides a comfortable and confidential environment for individuals and families seeking counseling for a variety of reasons. The counseling program is designed to fit the needs of the community and the needs of the referred client. The counseling program has a large referral base to counselors in the community. If the program does not have a consultant available a direct referral outside the program will be made.
The following is a listing of specialty areas that include but are not limited to:
- Sexual Trauma: Childhood sexual abuse, molestation, rape, sexual trauma exposure, harassment support counseling for the significant other or family members of the survivor
- Trauma and Loss: Death of a loved one, witness to a crime, divorce/separation, illness, accidental trauma, loss of a job/life style, environmental tragedy
- Depression/Anxiety/Bipolar Management
- Support Counseling for life changes
- Premarital, Marital and divorce counseling
- Parenting support counseling
- Crisis intervention
- Consultations and educational services are also available
Please note: Counseling services will not provide a recommendation to the court. Counseling will only provide a diagnosis, treatment plan and outcome. Due to HIPPA/confidentiality law no information will be shared outside of the counseling contract. Counseling services cannot render an opinion on the best interest of a child or case or recommend or evaluate a child or a individual participating in counseling.
